I was a little disappointed with this. Some great tracks and nice reordering. However, the mastering gives it a bit of a downbeat feel - sounds like the drums were played in a different room. Even Country Girl didn’t get me moving.

Beautiful extended version of the original album. The additional tracks, six of which had already been released on the 2009 Japanese edition of the album (Stone Ya To The Bone, To Live Is To Fly, Gimme Some Truth, It's Not Enough, Zeppelin Blues While Thinking Of Robert Parker, Gamblin' Bar Room Blues – this release adds Country Blues # 1/Will I Be Forgiven?) add variety and depth. The new sequencing flows incredibly well.

Just noticed that the picture used for the inner side of the foldout cover for the 15th Anniversary is the same that Chuck Prophet used for his album "Age of Miracles" released in 2004: https://www.discogs.com/Chuck-Prophet-Age-Of-Miracles/release/3154659

My copy arrived in the post today. Nice pressing, clean no Rice Krispies. Sound wise it feels a little hollow - i had to up the oomph on the amp to fill it out, but at least it’s not flat like some other RSD rush releases. Disappointed there weren’t actual session track on here - the Give Out.. Memphis sessions was awesome and i hoped for more of the same here, but alas its just the prev album with b-sides found elsewhere / ITunes ‘Extended” version. Country Blues also makes the cut, and it works; the track never sat well with the post punk paranoia trio, The heart and soul of Scream Team is a rock n roll band, and this release was their finest since Give Out.., its just a shame the extended cut didn’t give us more of an insight to the creative process. 7/10
