Shout At The Devil - Red cassette shell
Theatre Of Pain - White cassette shell
Girls Girls Girls - Blue Translucent cassette shell

There is a design and manufacturing defect. The magnet keeping the box closed rests against Too Fast For Love and causes distortion/fade in/fade out audio issues.

These tapes are easy to find originals of. Often sealed still. Just gave a Theatre and shout sealed copies away. Yes sealed for 30 years. Look through tape bins and be surprised. Good tapes are hiding in your favorite haunt. Although too fast and shout are the only good ones from these guys. Imo. There's a few good tracks on the next 3. You know it's true. Give it up. Labels choking up tape plants for this tripe is weak. Tapes are for underground stuff. Not this. I love tapes still and referb old decks. But these albums are so easy to find in the original quality tape form. This is just a cash grab. And one with no knowledge of the format.

Shitted up like the brick and mortar Pantera releasees. Music is all about money not quality; sick of the $ vs quality... time to take a break from this money grabbing industry.

FOR EVERYONE HAVING ISSUES, I received the following statement from BNM, “It has just come to our attention that there may be a potential issue with the Motley Crue “40th Anniversary” cassette box, and that one of the cassettes may be defective due to a packaging issue.

Please be advised that we will replace the defective cassette(s) at no charge, so you can keep the limited-edition box.”

“Process to get replacement cassettes:
- Send receipt of purchase and your address to (censored for privacy reasons)
- Specify which cassette(s) in your box are defective
- We will send you the replacement cassette(s) once they are manufactured. Should be by the end of July, or 1st week of August.”

I emailed the BNM shop and they got back to me almost instantly with the person I needed to email and what that person would need.

I bought these on RSD but have not opened them since I have read about the magnet issue and watched You Tube videos. I e-mailed Motley.com since I saw a comment on Facebook and they provided an e-mall to let them know. I have not heard back from them yet and deciding whether to just return the item to my retailer. It was probably packaged by someone that has no idea what a magnet does to a cassette.

Mostly junk. As for the magnet issue - yeah TFFL is trashed. There are two magnets. I'd like to share that I think most of this set is crap. The 3 tapes that are translucent have flimsy tape windows. The transparent tapes are nice and solid though. I way overpaid for this by a flipper but that's on me. Sad that the store I went to on RSD day was only allotted 2 but a nearby store that I did not go to had more than 10 for sale on eBay (for twice the cost) and they are a RSD store. That seems wrong but oh well.

I would like to know who came up with the Idea for packaging I would put 50 bucks on someone who wasn’t alive when tapes were big. LOL.

I just have some drop out on Live Wire only on TFFL tape. everything else is ok. I'll just fix that myself by recording over that from the record and keep this shit.
