Try playing 'Vacuum Boogie' at 33rpm, you might like it. You catch many details without the track to feel off. Can put you in a zone actually even more than at 45 rpm.

This track is..... unreal. Very imaginative, very catchy and worthy of a place in any collection

As a member of the Floating Points "40 something" fanbase and proud owner of this fantastic 12" I wanted something more positive to appear at the top.of the comments. I can only assume that the review below is sarcasm as pretty much the opposite of everything written is true. Is there's one person producing organic, warm, atmospheric, cutting edge electronic music, it's the Floaty P. Every track is a killer.

vacuum boogie would be an all time classic if.....it was produced 20 years earlier, the lifeless "laptop sounding" low end just kills any musicality in most of the modern electronic music, this is a perfect example - from the mids to the top, it's a very memorable track, but the weak, lifeless and overally "loud but perfectly meaningless" kick & bass combo are just too much, sorry - the 20-something fanbase won't get what im talking about, but i think the producer should understand it.

This is a really wonderful record, essential. Much prefer the A to either B sides, but still worth many listens
