"This record introduces Los Angeles-based producer Ivan AM and the Buena Gente Recordings imprint. “Exceed” is a straightforward tech-house roller with a simple, repetitive vocal sample, just pushing things along in a robotic conveyor belt. “Mourning Rain” has a bit more spirit to it, with a touch of gospel organ and just a general levitating feel. Nothing too involved or melodic, but it does create an aura.
