Reviews
- Just discovered this record, in many ways a last hurrah for the classic lineup. Side one is a bit of a bore, but damn - SIDE TWO!!! Talk about the Church of Uriah Heep, when "If I Had The Time" reaches it's finale the heavens just burst wide open. An unheralded UH masterpiece, and quite melancholy given the lyrics and who is singing them. The sonic riches just flow from there to the last note. I am now on the hunt for the perfect version of this record, any opinions?
- Quite a step down from the previous output, but still an essential album by the 70s hard prog gods. Stealin' is an obvious highlight on here. If that's the only song you like on here then find a copy of Stealin' 7" single that has the "Sunshine" b-side, that track is fantastic and is a travesty it wasn't included on here.
- Bit of an oddball one but does anyone else have a copy of this on CD but has 14 tracks of "Bob Marley And The Wailers" recorded on it ?. Its a Castle Classics release CLACD 183, Made in England, Matrix/Runout = Disctronics S OR 0087 02 with a pressed number 7 on the clear centre hub, all looks totally genuine. Not sure if its a rarity or fake. The 14 tracks sound like they have been taken from a vinyl copy due to the audible vinyl crackle.
