Some albums work because they fit a concept or style, others because they are so diverse that they have a surprise with each track. This third LP by the DDR prog band is of the latter category. This is no doubt due to the time span from which it was recorded, some of it dating from before the debut. But, although divesre, it's all excellent, a pot-pourri guide to what made DDR prog so different, from psychedelic sounds to classical prog, and even a bit of heavy rock, and the German language vocals are sure to please fans of Novalis.
