Only owned this since it came out on CD, as the original record for some reason has always eluded me, was even screwed over by metal blade trying to buy an original on ebay years ago. I was skeptical about this new pressing, but as others have said, it is a great sounding reissue that I am glad I bought. Great job metal blade, but the way I see it you still owe me an original copy.
Edited 3 years agoYes indeed, this bad boy sounds incredible. I know this record very well and this is the best I've ever heard it. The guitars are right it your face, snarling and heavy as hell. The drums smack with nice low end and punch from the kick, while the snare and cymbals cut through beautifully. Vocals are clear and more present than I ever remembered. Dead silent between tracks with zero surface noise whatsoever. I love this album so much and this pressing does it more than justice.
What a masterpiece finally have this on a slab of wax. It’s sounds so good!!
