Reviews
- MAUVER sees Bola moving into slightly more industrial hip-hop territory, though not without his unique melodic sense. The title track, for instance, includes a rap which adds a certain grittiness, while "Para Qweqway" grinds a little more slowly, but with a deep subsonic bass. "Syblex" hews closer to more 'traditional' Bola, but the standout track here is "Vespers," which manages to be deep and strongly emotive -- Bola's stock-and-trade, if you will. It's a lovely, slow prayer, one that draws a sonic veil across your mind. Marvelous.
