Sounds excellent to my ear. Clear across the spectrum, no flaws. Bass are ok. Really good.

Little bit of noise here an there but good quality. Unfortunately Eyes of a Stranger which is my favourite track has a distortion at some parts of the solo on my copy...
Too bad, I hope they release a gatefold and I get the chance to exchange it in the future.

Excellent vinyl quality - heavy (very similar to 180 gram vinyl), smooth and very quiet - with minimal clicks. The sound quality is on the level, excellent dynamic range. My rating of the publication is 9 points out of ten (it's a pity that this is not a gatefold).

I just picked up this reissue. I have an original on vinyl and also had a 2008 pressing...This album clocks in at just under a hour so we all know that a 2 lp is what you would want in that case...Well I'm happy to say after 33 years they finally got it right!😂...This is by far the best sounding version of this album on vinyl! ⚡🤘

Wierd. Can't find my matrix runout anywhere 232278E1 1037356 (Side A). Anyone have this?
Doesn't say Made in Germany on label either. Has this barcode and 7714039.
Either way - sounds great! Much better than my original release.

Accidentally re-purchased and realized I had this copy (Made in Germany, Optimal?) and was bummed to see the new copy was a GZ (I'm kind of a GZ hater for various reasons). My German copy was just fine but a bit noisier than the GZ (to my surprise). I clean all my records as well (Okki Nokki) - and re-cleaned the Optimal press. Still a bit more noisy areas. As for overall mastering and whatnot - sounds fine to me. No noticeable sibilance nor distortion on either press so all is good imo.

My release has a "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC," has a Capital Records stamp above the barcode w/ a Hollywood address for Capital. Is this a version not listed?? Shows 7714039 on spine, like this release.

My version sounds great. No pressing defects, no factory dirt on the vinyl of the sleeves they were encased in originally. Just happy to be able to have the record.

Quality control at its worst. By far the dirtiest new vinyl i ever experienced. And hairlines as well on side four. Which pressing plant is this chaos? SHUT IT DOWN.Very dissappointed
