Totally agree with "restless" below, this is one of my favourite ever techno tracks too, it sends shivers up and down my spine! I was already a huge fan of LFO and delighted in this and the subsequent G-Man release "G-Man 2" (check Sparticus out - wow!).
Quo Vardis is one of the highlights of the superb Richie Hawtin / Plastikman Mixmag CD from '95. Absolutely flippin' brilliant and well up there with the likes of Maurizio's Domina etc.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned B1? That's as groovy a minimal jam as A1.

Incredible techno record, 'Quo Vardis' was made in 1994, released 95, and even if you can feel the influences of Maurizio and DBX here, G-Man's music is more techy and dancefloor focused (that amazing acid line buildt on top!) and this is probably a genre-defining record, one of the songs that invented minimal-house as we know it (together with some Schatrax, Peter Ford and Thomas Melchior productions from that era). Already one half of LFO, Gez Varley definitely proves with this record (and the amazing followers G-Man II and the Kushti album) that he can be a genius! Works every time, one of my all-time top10 techno records.
