- Edited 11 months agoThis is a german press! I always thought and still think that the "Country" rules in discogs have been crap, but this here is complete wrong! EBM has more or less been invented in Belgium AND Germany, so a german press of an american band doing that sound was surely made for the GERMAN market! My copy also came with a german Warner promo insert from 14.Juli '92!
Especially here in Frankfurt, this sound was really BIG at the time! - Edited 4 years ago"Farout 1" is probably the finest non-album track by the TKK, pinning a hugely propulsive beat under a sinuous blend of both their early, more sinister camp-Satanic sound and their sleazy exploitation lounge trappings of the then-current "Sexplosion!" album. It has one foot in both eras, and is peppered with the usual vocal samples and strobing sonics that evoke night-time psychedelic trips. This version is far better than the one that appeared on the Rykodisc reissue of the "Sexplosion!" album a few years later.
