Reviews
Show All 13 Reviews- An amazing feat of engineering! Whoever coordinated this is some sort of genius. I was fully prepared to spend double when it was announced. Showed up in perfect shape. Worth every penny!!
- A couple records have some non-fill and a couple of the sleeves have very minor seam splits on the top of their sleeves, but those are all minor gripes when taking this thing in as a whole.
Everything from the box itself to the included slipmat to the various colors of the vinyl are all top notch. While I wish that each album had a different artist, it is nice to have a cohesion to the visual element of it all.
I've been a Godzilla fan since I was a child, and having this music isolated to enjoy whenever I want is something that a younger me would have never dreamed of. Astounding. - Words can't do justice to the beauty of this set. All the different colored vinyl, and beautiful new artwork for all the covers. By far the most I've ever spent on an LP set, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself. I've listened to the whole thing, and it won't be the last time.
- Anyone else’s Godzilla ‘54 have two Side-A labels? I haven’t gotten through the rest of the side to see if any of the rest are mislabeled.
- Edited one year agoSet looks good, but arrived with minor damage (a few seam splits, dented corners, and the magnetic flap is split for about half an inch on either side). Love the new covers, and the formalized back cover designs. Some pretty big inconsistencies with some of the pressings in my set, with EBIRAH and GHIDRAH sounding worst of the lot. Some isolated non-fill issues side B of TERROR, and side C of KONG had most of a greasy handprint on it. Still cleaning it all out. Mastering of the music itself is very strong throughout (bravo to Telegraph on that), which makes the pressing foibles all the more frustrating. Discs look amazing, if not true to the promo pics (twas ever thus). A mixed bag for me, but still happy enough to have it.
- Truly unbelievable. The craftsmanship and hard work that went into this box set is stellar. The sound is also fantastic. No pops or clicks so far.
- When you have this box in your hands it is slightly different from the pictures !! unbelievably beautiful truly a masterpiece from Waxworks. Highly recommended !!
