- I don't know if anyone mentioned this before but the back cover says there 13 tracks and "Twice Inna Lifetime" is number 13. Though the center label says there are only 12 tracks because "Thieves In The Night" is missing there. Is anyone able to confirm that or is it just my copy?
- I recently purchased this (without reading the comments that some buyers believe this may be a bootleg) and came to the same conclusion. After listening and examining my copy – I also believe it to be a bootleg – however mine seems different than the one ecks-bogota listed.
My sleeve (full picture version) has cardboard colour on the inside (not white – which is the same as ecks-bogota's version). However, both centre labels look good quality and the inner ring crosses right above the W in Rawkus logo.
Both runouts are standard..
RWK-1158-A
RWK-1158-B
Major visible difference – side B of the record appears to have a matte finish. It is not shiny and smooth like the A side or any other standard new albums. It has a slight roughness to it. There is a lot of background hiss throughout the pressing and it gets progressively worse on the b side of the album. - Edited 12 years agoi believe i have this same bootleg, and the original 1998 release. let's see if we have the same bad looking stuff:
poor printing, both on labels and sleeves, colors look slightly different, logos on labels look like they were taken from a picture.
original version comes in different type of cardboard (white inside), bootleg has carboard color inside.
spine is considerably thinner than the 98 release, also printings on spine are smaller and different from the og press.
inner ring on label in og press crosses right above the W on RAWKUS logo, bootleg is 3mm far from the W on logo.
run outs:
RWK11581 A-1 BS0881128972A(this long serial is striked with X over every character)
RWK11581 B-1 BS0881128972B(this long serial is striked with X over every character) 21.10.04DM
also last track on side B has very bad quality, i don't know if it is only my release, but for me it is a fact.
