In the end you can see why record companies passed on it. The music was a bit murky, spastic and what not.. Plus Jorge's vocals require a lot of getting into. Once you do it's rewarding. The slow songs now seem just as good as the heavier ones.

Written and some recordings were assembled from 75-79, then re-recorded in 79, so we'll never really get to hear the raw first versions unfortunately. A shame really, but you can hear the early funk sound on many of the tracks. Great work bringing this back!!

Oh yeah an absolute 10/10 stars - Stunning album and to think Cowley created this thing from 75-79 makes the mind boggle.
To this day it sounds fresh and groundbreaking.
I would describe it as a really tough fusion of Industrial, Funk, Post-Punk, Techno, Dub, Pop, Avant, Synth-Pop, Rock'n'Roll with a big emphasis on Funky!
And of course to present this to a new generation with his 2nd to none mastering skills is Rashad Becker @ Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin. Rashad did his thang with the restoration and mastering for the CD & Vinyl reissue and as expected he has done an incredible job. Gotta love Becker.

And you gotta love Cowley and his criminally slept on Catholic project.
