- Great press. Awesome package. The band signed print was the cherry on top. Well worth it for any Clutch fan.
- My copy has a huge smear of glue right across "The Regulator", embedded onto the record and rendering it unplayable. Unbelievable. Back for a replacement it goes.
- My only concern is that both records seem to be drilled slightly off center. I have good equipment, but I see some slight wiggle on the tonearm. It's nothing super serious, and it sounds fine to me. Not a lot of surface noise for me either, but I clean all my records on an Okki Nokki. For the price, they should nail the drilling so it is dead center. I LOVE Clutch, but this has me wondering if I'll get any future releases in this series.
- Bought mine at a local record store, no damage to the outer or inner sleeves but there is a nasty and deep scratch on Side C that makes the first 2 tracks unplayable. Other than that, it sounds great!
- Absolutely worth the price: great sounding press, beautiful discs, insert and jacket. Really impressed with the recent special editions from Weathermaker. The discs were just a little dirty but not too bad and just need a brushing and one of the sleeves came with a split in the side; perfect otherwise.
- Clutch hit the bullseye with this one. A bit pricey, yes; but well worth it IMO. Has everything a limited edition vinyl run should: flawless 180g blue & orange translucent vinyl, high quality gatefold jacket, awesome artwork, numbered and signed insert looks great and is well sized (not large and folded or small and unimpressive). Sounded great after a good cleaning. I only noticed minor noise on outer edges and parts of some of the inner runouts - little if any during songs.
Only possible complaint is one of the inner sleeves is rather creased and bent up, and they aren't the nice, lined, anti static ones (most people probably prefer the extra artwork over the archival quality sleeves which you can just get separate anyway). - Purchased at a local record store today since my preordered Amazon copy is delayed until September. My locally purchased copy has no hype sticker. Anyone have a similar experience?
- Edited 3 years agoJust about through side A and there's a good bit of surface noise, woof.
EDIT: It's throughout the entire album, mostly during quieter parts...
Anyone else?
