Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoWho will fall is onne of the saddest and most beautiful records I know of. Absolutely mesmerizing and haunting. While subdued and ethereal it's ultimately devastating. Airborne Bells is good but fairly standard Coil fare that sounds like a Horse Rotorvator outtake.
- Edited 18 years agoThis is one of my favourite Coil tracks ever. The track 'Is Suicide A Solution?' is basically 'Who'll Fall' from the Stolen & Contaminated Limited CD. Its very very dark but also incredibly beautiful. The track is based around an entire answermachine message left on Peter Christopherson's phone from a friend calling to tell him that his friend has just commited suicide by throwing himself off a cliff...then the caller goes into a long trane of thought ramble about life and 'who'll fall'...you or i...! While the backing music is a lush reverb drenched guitar, various bleeps, clicks and tones made by phones.....it is quite gorgeous!
