I confirm that it is a more than good print. Two negative facts: it costs a lot and the packaging is poor for the purchase price. I would have preferred a black vinyl and a cover with more information and maybe some photos.

I compared back to back the BBC release with some classic bootlegs (Psychedelic sessions 1/2, Halloween in Arkham, The dancers reward,Lord of darkness) and the difference in sound quality is enormous, while the boots sound muddy, very rough with no soundstage, no highs and obviously very little insight on details and in the end very little fun, the BBC release has beautiful sparkling guitars , a great soundstage and the voice is crystal clear. Not to mention that finally you have the whole version of Heartland with the intro and outro.
Definitely a huge uprade in terms of sound qualtiy that does justice to the songs, fucking awesome!

Does the world need this release? No! The price? No comment. Side D = without audio. Vinyl-Collectors maybe. Yes, Coloured Vinyl, very important today, it seems. New Artwork? No. RSD Release? Yes. The pressing is good, the sound is accordingly 80s. Probably recorded with a tape deck, a portable recorder is more likely. From the 80´s. Far away from DAT (Digital Audio Tape). A new album? No. Announced before, but never came. Conclusion: YOU, yes you, you can buy an album with old material....or you spend the money on the original albums. Way no.3 you spend your money for new artists of this genre.Classic Goth Rock? Yes! But please, not in this way! Here 3 Tipps: THE WAKE, killer album: ALTAR DE FEY NEVA you will NOT be disappointed!

I only opened mine today and have found two times Record 1 and Record 2 is missing. Never thought this would happen to me. My Record Dealer hasn't any more to exchange. Now i hope Rhino will answer my mail and can solve this problem. DISC 1 sounds amazing, flat, quiet. So i hope i will get DISC 2 because there are two of my favorit songs on it.

Having had all these sessions for a long time, I must say I'm pretty disappointed in this release. The sound quality is not any better than on the bootlegs I have, which I expected it to be with this being an official release. There's a clear lack of dynamics here, especially the first Peel Session leaves a lot to be desired. That said, it's nice to finally get some kind of release after 25+ years of nothing but yearly tours. It plays dead quiet, the artwork is stunning, the "smoke" records look great. But all in all not too exciting if you have the material already. Also, why not fill side D with more material? A bit of a clusterf**k pricewise too, costing $20-$25 in the US, and upwards of $60 in Europe. Glad I only spent $21.99 on it... .

This pressing plays dead quiet. Gorgeous and spooky colored vinyl.

It's funny that the hype sticker claims "12 Tracks Previously Unreleased On LP." Clearly, bootlegs are not considered, no matter how prolific. See...
I'm glad there's finally a legitimate release.
