This is actually a decent reissue. While it doesn’t quite have the sonic definition and texture of the original, it still sounds good. The drums and bass have been supercharged and are mostly out front here and really give the music a hard-pounding feel. The sound has been cleaned up a bit and by that I mean really crisp separation and maximum clarity. It’s like an audiophile rendering of the original sound where each instrument can be heard very distinctly. Does it smooth over some of the raw studio studio magic captured on the original recording? A little bit. But with its driving rhythm section, this reissue is still a tour de force and I find that I will definitely listen to this more in attempt to preserve my original copy. So job well done there. I appreciate the thick, tip on cover and polylined inner sleeve (weird about the credits though) and the inclusion of the 7 inch is a nice extra. And the pressing is flawless and plays dead silent. Overall, I’m very happy with this release.

I wish they'd put the 7" disc in an inner sleeve so it can't move around and get worn, otherwise good package 👍

I was kinda hesitant on this than I noticed the Run Out Groove label 🏷 none of my stores had a copy so I had to pay just a little extra of course

Interesting to note: the album credits printed on the release look to be lifted directly from Discogs. Kind of a bummer as I expected the original album art to be reproduced.

I didn't get the "art stencil" in my copy. Honestly...this blows.
