It's a very nice compilation and the vinyl sounds great. I only wonder why no selections were included from the Lost Dogs + Mixed Blessings album. I'm really hoping for a vinyl issue of that record.

Fair And Square reissue was announced today! 2 versions got the Irish version pre-ordered. Waiting for my Indie retailer to pre-order that version, too!

I wish the liner notes or the RSD website would list the independent records stores that picked these tracks. I don't understand why it's such a mystery for a release curated this way.

I bought it on Record Store Day (along with the great Live At The Other End). I already have every song on this compilation on vinyl except for “Some Humans Ain’t Human”. Man, I would really love a quality reissue of Fair And Square. Fingers crossed!

Debating what should and shouldn't be on this record is a fruitless effort because, well, John wrote a lot of great songs over the past 40 years. This is a nice compilation, and a cool idea for a record, and I love the idea of a young person picking this up on a whim and discovering John Prine. This is a really great record for that.

Really nice little compilation to add to any John Prine fan’s catalogue. Pressing sounds good with minimal noise.
