I will confess that I'm not the biggest fan of the Pepper Hot Mix. If only they had also included the original version, it would have been sensational !!

this track (pepper hot mix) was a trip i got strong memories of hearing this playing at parties i was at in 1994 the type of track that really stood out + set the mood for the whole night back in the rave days - im a big fan of the original Reuben Wilson - Got To Get Your Own but i must admit i dont recall hearing anyone playing this pegasus mix even tho that breakbeat sound was really popular at the time hard to turn down the hot mix in favor of that

The A side is vintage, melodic and light hearted, whilst intricate and hypnotizing, Speedy J from back in the day when he was still killing it with his trancey and intelligent sound. Shimmering positivity all the way here! It has enough layers to keep the listener's attention throughout, but it doesn't get suffocated in its own structure.
A very effective track, which can serve as an excellent DJ tool during after hours sets in old school parties, and simultaneously work as the kind of tune you'd put on during a sunny day with your windows wide open, letting your mind drift off carried by the sound waves right out of the window frame...
