Reviews
- "Women beat their men" vocal sample used on https://www.discogs.com/Submission-Women-Beat-Their-Men/master/205575 ...
- Classic NYC gem released on Arthur Baker's own Streetwise Label. Based on the credits, it looks like this track was started overseas, then finished off in NYC at Unique Studio. Quite an anomaly of a track, and that is why we loved it.
- I was a big fan of COWBOYS INTERNATIONAL, so when I found out about DOMINATRIX at the time of the original release, I knew it would be right up my alley, and I had to get it. I was not disappointed; I was chuffed. When Depeche Mode came to Oakland for their first USA tour, the opening band was BOOK OF LOVE featuring DOMINATRIX's Ivan Ivan on keyboards! Of course, Peter Baumann is famous for being in TANGERINE DREAM. Dominatrix Executive Producer Joel Webber was in San Francisco's THE UNITS.
- Edited 17 years agoGreat classic left-field tune, BUT it was mixed by a Non-DJ, which you'll discover the hard way toward the end, where the downbeat suddenly changes to an up-beat. Don't ride the outro over your next incoming record without preparing for this!
