There is mixed feedback about the sound of this record hitherto. Can anyone else vouch for the pressing as quiet/dynamic? Truly beautiful music.- Edited one year agoI love the music but this record sounds pretty bad. Mine isn’t close to quiet. Sounds like crackling logs on a fire.
Beautiful songs on a solid reissue. Happy about to found this.- Listened to this three times on the day it arrived. Nice quiet pressing befitting the delicate, intimate music. Lovely stuff.
Part Vini Reilly, part Maurice Deebank from Felt with echoes of Cocteau Twins acoustic work and maybe Pat Metheney around the time of Watercolours. Very nice, reissue out now. No idea how limited it is…
