I have had this sitting on my shelf since I ordered it from MoFi and just noticed that record is housed in a sealed plastic bag (not shrink wrapped). Is this how others received theirs? It was def. sent directly from Mofi (ordered from their website on release day and plastic bag is sealed on all sides). This just seems odd to me.

I just picked this up today, and it had no stamped number in the white box! Also, mine didn't come with a lyric sheet, despite not being opened. Was this a mistake copy?

Nice for this underappreciated record to get this treatment. Much less demand for this than its predecessor and the pricing now vs time of release shows MoFi were overly optimistic in the audience for this. I only have streaming and a worn original pressing to compare it with, but there’s nothing special I’m hearing. Good to have a clean vinyl copy of this, but I don’t think the masters were particularly great-sounding to begin with. Given the more favorable pricing floating around (it’s under $40 in Discogs but mofi is up to $60 now?!) it may be worth picking up this pressing if you’re a fan and don’t mind getting up to flip often. Judging by the super low “want” count vs owned I suspect those of us that wanted this record already have it and no one will read this comment…

ronaldar1, I just checked on your website. you're right.
And to think that I bought it on the MOFI website as AAA!!!
What can I say after all those "digital rumors" are already a reality

One of the most underrated MoFi releases. I love it. Sounds great also! Would have love to get the poster, but you can't have it all!

I received a copy with 2 X the first LP and no trace of the second disc, I reached out to MOFI customer servicer days ago and still haven't heard back. Am I the only one in this boat?
(Still, that first disc sounded insanely good indeed and I can't wait to be able to hear the full album...)

All joy, no sorrow. Hopefully, MoFi continues with Nilsson's catalogue. There are many better albums than this; The Point!, Popeye, and Pussy Cats to mention a few. Of course, some of his early great work has been reissued on speakers corner to great acclaim.

Unsure exactly how, but this sounds even better than Nilsson Schmilsson. Wow, Mofi, I can even forgive all the seam splits I've been receiving lately because the music is just... incredibly mastered. 6 stars.
