Reviews
- Easily one of the best records McGriff recorded for Solid State, this is dominated by upbeat funky soul jazz, highlighted by "Charlotte" and both parts of the title track, which bookend the album. McGriff also plays piano on a few of the tracks. This pressing has very good sound, bass is full, horns have a nice kick to them, and that Hammond organ bursts out of the speaker. My copy plays nice and clean, didn't notice any surface noise.
