- You have not heard "Preacher Man" until you have heard Derrick May working multiple copes of it on "The Mayday Mix". He just takes it to the next level making it a totally different track.
When I picked the original 12" up I originally thought I had the wrong mix in my hands until I was alerted as to what has going on. - Edited 15 years agoI wouldnt generally say that much for Green Velvet but this does it for me in a big way. Very simple (which makes it superb for mixing with) but oh so effective. Even if you just use the sermon side without the track. Great starter to a set. Don't think the usual Green Velvet but more Belgian techno with dark stomping bass reminiscent of Photek's Glamourama. In my opinion, his best track and other thyan La La Land, the only one I kept after buying. Guaranteed to mess with somebody's head in the club who's been horsing around where they shouldn't!
