Anyone else have a constant hiss in the background? Its especially prevalent in quite portions of the album. Is this normal for how old the recording is?

OMFG, this release is the greatest version of this LP I've had the money to own (for less than several hundred dollars). Everything about the pressing and packaging is superb. People should snatch a copy before it's too late and skyrockets in price!

This sounds absolutely spectacular, as many others have already said. It's all there - amazing stereo imaging, very tight and deep and realistic bass, natural sounding piano. Lovely music too, of course!

The remastering is phenomenal. The pressing's a bit dodgy, though. Still, I'm glad to have a quality version of this.

Great pressing, dead silent wax. Superb soundstage, great instrument separation. Low-end is where it stands out, with punchy, detailed double-bass. Don't sleep on this one, its another hit from the Acoustic Sounds Series.

Utterly superb pressing. Was surprised at how thick the bottom end is on this pressing, but it sounds incredible. Great release.

The people behind these Acoustic Sounds releases have really got their act together with the pressing of this series of records. All I’ve ordered so far have been perfect and this one is no exception. Shame about the wait for Trio 65 but Trio 64 will get a few spins while I’m waiting for the delayed 65 release.
