Edited 2 years agoAcquired this patchy compilation back in the day solely for the rare Autechre track 'Puch' (aka Yarra, circa '94). Apparently inspired by "the Victorian Coast's crisp skies, breaking waves and stark rock forms". It's an accessible, delightfully beat-driven melodic offering; many coastlines removed from Autechre's later works. The lads definitely don't make 'em like they used to.
Awesome beats and vibes, what a mix.
