Side one of my copy is really crackly right from the start, mostly in the right-hand channel. Very disappointing.

I was hoping that Fight The Power would be the uncensored version, to really set this version apart aside from being 2XLP, but nope. I guess still the only way to get it is the 12" single and the Do The Right Thing Soundtrack.

Package overall is great. Could it have been more dynamic? Probably, but it’s just as good, if not a bit better than the original. Crank up the volume of you want it a bit louder. This was never an audiophile recording. Sounds as raw as it ever did. I’m happy with it, good job.

Unfortunate that it didn't get the same treatment like 36 Chambers, but still worth owning if you don't already

about Fight the Power, is it censored or uncensored? "Elvis was a hero to most, but he never meant [beep] to me, you see."

Very quiet pressing with sligh surface noise at the begging of side A. Disappointed.

killer copy of this classic, nice essay booklet. This dropping the same month as 36 Chambers (on 2LP as well) makes for an awesome month to be a VMP member. Sounds clean, deep, and detailed. Very nice heavy gatefold with spot varnish. As good as this one gets.
