Since receiving this, I've been spinning it NON-STOP! This record is just what I've needed amongst all the bullshit going on in the world. It's a calming yet engaging ride from start to finish. The packaging design and pressing are top notch, to boot. Did not have any issues with surface noise that another user mentioned.

I'm not sure how Geographic North does it! They're always releasing the most beautiful and yet interesting music. One of my favorite labels for sure. M. Sage's The Wind of Things has made its way to my top albums of 2021 list, because not only is it expansive and lovely, but it has brought me so much peace in a crazy 2021. Standout track for me is Spinnaker on a Southerly because the outdoor soundscape reminds me of the warm breezy nights of my childhood, barefoot and catching fireflies. I forgot to mention, the vinyl pressing itself is heart eyes to the max.

Just received this from Boomkat and put it on. The surface noise is terrible. Parts of the record are loud enough to overcome it, but other parts it's just crackling with music behind it. Disappointing. Luckily it comes with the digital, of course. Beautiful stuff, though.
