Sandy Denny’s sublime vocals, Swarbrick’s violin, Thompson’s guitar…what’s not to like? Stand out tracks for me “Matty Groves” and “The Deserter”

just listening to my 1969 ILPS 9115 vinyl copy ... the vinyl plays perfect, 50 years on. Liege and Leif is still one of my top 5 favourite albums of all time. What a fabulous band.

My LP matches the first issue ILPS 9115, (https://www.discogs.com/Fairport-Convention-Liege-Lief/release/2024570) in every respect, except that the label shows the catalog number as ILPS 9115 A and ILPS 9115 B, does not have the witch logo or the names of the publishers.
