Reviews
- Easily the worst Beck album. And this from a fan. This album is actually a useful compendium of all mid-80's rock and glam cliché, as it hits every note from overwrought hair ballads to "gospel" (desecrating Curtis Mayfield in the process), the "we'll use keyboards, but make them sound like guitars!", and DX7 pads all wrapped in saccharine digital reverb and over-produced EQ sheen that over the years feels more like waxy buildup.
