This tune was way,way ahead of its time. It sold bucket loads. Whilst Snap was at no:1 all over the globe with 'I've got the power', and Teknotronic were also tearing up the charts with 'pump up the jam', 'love me baby' was mashing up all the airwaves via the piarate radio stations and the massive underground raves. The tune is sparse and direct(original deep house. May's female vocals belt out at the top of her voice.. this is most definately a classic. It needs to be re-released or bootleged, and even rerecorded ... whatever! somebody needs to put it out again quick.. Also I thought
'I love you baby' nicked a lot from 'love me baby' ... but what the heck, it did it very nicely..
