I've just got the Nathan 2021 repress (the 3rd) in relation to the cost £75 including postage and VAT coming from France to the UK ...so thats $103 never mind what this will be worth in 5-10years time ...and at this money for me it is still super value.... especially as i buy to listen to records not merely look at them.

.....WOW what an album and how well packaged too, strong / thick record mailer and sent via courier service rather than 'posted' Fred does a fantastic job at SAM Records ... my vinyl is flat and quiet not to mention the actual music production really is top audiophile pressing at its best...

not withstanding the "slight distortion" that is highlighted by a sticker on the outer sleeve, so refreshing to have a 'label' highlight a flaw that can't be erased without impacting upon the whole record ...so we all know what is on the original tape before we buy, i only hear a "very slight distortion" so its not an issue i can't live with ...nuff said about that.

I'm new to Nathan ...who really impresses my ears ...but must say i'm also going to look out for Charles Saudrais on albums as i'm digging the hell out of his drumming on sides A to D.

I feel lucky to of got 1 of the 100 that got pressed for September ...i hope all others that missed out now will get theirs in November 21...and the gatefold is a joy perhaps not quite as luxurious as the tri-fold but still standout for me.

If you are in any doubt about getting this particular SAM ...or indeed any SAM record, i have 2 now both are stella.. go right ahead they do a fabulous job all round.

This reissue, comes in a 'normal' double album cover with 2 records in one opening and the 3rd record in the other opening. Listed above as coming in a tri-fold cover ...perhaps the original pressing was tri-fold ?

I'll be back to add a review once i've had time to listen to this fabulous music
