- Nu:Tone's remix is not only a perfect example of the Hospital Records sound around that time, a sound they basically branded, but a tune that the label feels as their own identity. It is an edit of the original without touching the melodic progression, but rearranging some instruments, accelerating the original samples and adding a drum n bass pattern and a comfy bassline couch to support it all. There is also that point where the samples at more bpm become loopy, a natural liquid tune material. Everyone in Hospital is obsessed with it even today and you can see many renditions from many "let's play these electronic tunes as if they were played by a band" acts.
It does not usually keep the attention of the dancefloor for long though. - Spread Love (Nu:Tone Remix):

A In The Beginning
http://www.juno.co.uk/miniflashplayer/SF144102-01-01-01.mp3 - Edited 2 years agoNu:Tone has the ability to do great things as a remixer. This is a perfect example of how to maintain the vibe of the original, whilst giving it something new. This remix shines, with its soulful garage house flavours and a real 70s vibe about it. Its all put together so beautifully with slick and energetic execution. Sweet summer vibes.
- Nu:Tone remix is great, fits easily in any liquid set. Child Support remix is awful, I'm, not sure why it even exists.
