Solid classic material here. I only wish there was a good digital version for sale somewhere. I lost my turntables long ago.

Deep Burnt 20+ years later.. this is still a sublime piece to me. I was in NY for most of the summer of '99 and was able to go to the Dance Ritual weeklies @ Vinyl with Louie Vega spinnng while there. He was dropping this each week I was there (IIRC of course) ... and it was magical. Pretty sure I scored my copy at Satellite. We get to hear strings like this with cuts like Trackheadz - Our Music (Shouts 416) and a bit more recently with Casino Times - Heart Strings on Wolf Music.. but this one is still the one. I think I stopped liking it for a time because it got more popular with the underground.. but I'm getting better about being less picky due to those inclinations.

Dunno about this one .. on the get go its a good tune but i wanted the original release, where the No.s are the same I ended up with a reissue .. not sure what the original sounds like but the reissue i ended up with isn't great .. theres no sound to it .. very flat .. like a digital file squashed on a cheap bit of wax .. defo no bass and no musicality to the sound .. as records go its ok but theres better out there for cheaper ..

Superb classic deep house music does not get any better that than this. There is also a slightly shorter edit of this track on this release. https://www.discogs.com/P%C3%A9p%C3%A9-Bradock-Deep-Burnt-Edits-/master/1315080

i think some of the vocal samples frm "Burning hot" originate with the (1991) release of Keep Warm

Saw this everywhere at a certain time...the cover is eye-catching, but the sound isn't ear-catching (at least to mine). My reason for saying this is that the track many seem to like is Deep Burnt...but if you listen to the Prescription back catalogue 94/95 Chez Damier Ron Trent...well, draw your own conclusions.

You can find the digital version of 'Burning' on Stop & Listen Vol. 5: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Stop-And-Listen-5/release/162260

This comp also has "Isolée - Beau Mot Plage (Freeform Reform Parts 1&2)" which is often rated alongside 'Burning.'

Much better to listen to with a joint than a dance floor track. Overrated but good.
