- This is not a Reggae/Ska album. Ignore what the contributors have listed it as.
This is a very disappointing album. - oh dear.
I get the concept of what they trying to do but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. I was expecting some progression from their previous efforts which I though was a great effort.
This LP has been consigned to the dark corners of my collection. - Ps. What's wrong with some extra formats?? I got the lp, cassette, single, art print and postage for less than £30.
- I disagree with you. It has a lo-fi demo feeling which I feel befits the blues/folk origins of most of the songs. I think it's better than encore. All the people who were expecting another Ska album can go and have a little cry. Maybe the band are tired of playing the same 20 songs over and over again?
- At first I thought everyone was probably being unreasonably hard on this album. But after hearing it, they weren't. It's bad. And yes, too many formats. Who are you guys...Taylor Swift? Know your demographic.
- I was really looking forward to a high energy 2 Tone cover of Trouble Every Day... instead it's a weak, straight version of The Mothers of Invention angry original.
- Edited one year agoPersonally speaking: This is the most disappointing release in years. Surely meant well but feels very pretentious. So sad.
