Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoRead some of the recent reviews, and I remember I was super excited to land a copy of this "played once" album that was mint condition at my local brick and mortar...way back in the day.
So I just watched the TH Tribute and remembered I had this beauty stored away in my collection, so I decided to give it a full listen again after all these years.
I am so proud to own this vinyl release. The presentation is incredible The sound is a tad compressed in some minor areas, but overall nicely mastered. The cover is embossed, and the inners are high quality with amazing photography.
I am baffled that this is still an affordable vinyl release, as it should be worth 2x3 times the going rate here today.
So...buy now! - Can someone tell me if this cover is embossed? I'm trying to tell the difference between this first pressing and the reissue done by Chris Bellman seen here: https://www.discogs.com/release/11603586-Foo-Fighters-Greatest-Hits
They both have the same hype sticker and barcode so it's difficult to tell. Any help is appreciated - Edited 3 years agoNot sure if its the pressing or the mastering but most of, if not all of, disc 1, the songs sound quite compressed and not very clear. Disc 2 sounds a bit better, mostly side D.
- Fantastic collection of songs, solid sound quality all around. The SQ differs slightly with each track as some are older than others but all around a 10/10!
- My copy was noisy until after a clean. There a still a little noise, but the SQ is greatly improved. Regardless it’s a great collection of songs!
- Mostly greatly remastered and close to if not no surface noise whatsoever. Maybe the older songs could use some work but all in all a great purchase, found it for about 13 bucks new.
