Love this album but this pressing really does sound horrible. A nice collectors item to have but not worth listening. The audio is super distorted and noisy.

I dunno what you guys are listening to, but this one sounds terrible. Sure not as bad as many picture disks, but terrible compared to the previously relased "The Fame". This is a shame as "The Fame Monster" is my favourite of all her releases.

I agree it needs to be reissued on black vinyl.

This is fine to get if you want to complete a discography on vinyl, but don't buy it expecting good sound quality because it's pretty nasty.

I would love a box set with this (on a regular LP, no picture disc) and The Fame... C'mon gaga, make it happen.

Bought it to complete the collection of albums and although it’s not terrible, I really wish this weren’t a picture disc. Picture discs just don’t generally sound very good. Quite a bad of static and surface noise on this. I seriously hope a regular vinyl will be released one day.

I try to avoid picture discs as well, but would have bought this if not for the fact that I don't want to hear Lady Gaga saying she is a "free bit." I have uncensored mp3s of this album - where is the unedited physical version? Come on.

My daughter bought this at Amoeba in LA. I personally do not do picture discs. However, certain artists and records deserve being displayed for the pure art work. This is one of those albums. And having just listened to it, it doesn't sound 1/2 bad.

This album seriously needs a reissue, with a proper jacket and sleeve.

My copy sounds really good. Just some almost imperceptible background noises from the picture disc but not a big deal.

Just got mine today and played it all the way through, nothing wrong whatsoever. Maybe the pressings got better or there were just a few duds floating around

Well, this is the first picture disc I've ever bought. Of course, I tend to avoid them because they supposedly sound bad, and I love to listen to my records as opposed to look at them. I'm glad I took the risk on this one, as it sounds pretty damned good. Granted, I had low expectations, and it's certainly a bit on the noisy side at the beginning of sides and on quiet parts (the very few there are on this album). If you love this album and want to be able to listen to it loud on a stereo through vinyl, I would recommend. However, as has been pointed out, it is indeed censored... but so are all of the CD versions I've heard. I really don't know why this was done, as there are definitely explicit versions of the songs that are censored here (namely the music videos on Youtube, but I don't know about the singles).
