One of the most afforable Yamashita LP. It is pretty much the middle road of his solo carreer at this point. He really perfected his City Pop style and sound. Yes the cover is ugly, but the music is good!

I stumbled upon a copy that's in a standard jacket and not a gatefold one. It is legit, as far as I can tell, just with a slightly different runout. Anybody happen to have any info (i.e., maybe it *is* some sort of pirated copy or something to that effect)?

the one with "christmas eve" on it. maybe you've heard that one covered by pentatonix, with full English lyrics, for the JP edition of their "that's christmas to me" album.

while this is definitely one of yamashita's most commercial albums (as evidenced by the extreme popularity of its closing track), it is no less an excellent listen than his others, and quite a bit less pricey than some of his earlier ones go for. you certainly can't go wrong with picking this one up, especially with other superb tracks like "kanashimi no jody" and "merry-go-round" present here.
