- Purchased at my Friendly Local Record Store for a good price. Vinyl looks pretty. Sonically doesn’t seem quite on par with some of the other JEMP vinyl releases, which are excellent, such as Billy Breathes, Hoist, or Story of the Ghost. This sounds a little “flatter”, less well rounded, missing some mid range. Definitely not as Phat! Digital? Certainly not bad sounding, but seems to be missing the extra mustard.
- I picked this up while it was briefly available through dry goods prior to the 10/29/21 release. It sounds excellent to my ears. I don't have an OG to compare it with but it's flat, quiet, has good dynamics and nice deep bass. No complaints from me at all. I expect these will be available at the usual spots for a few months after release just like the Olfactory hues version of Lawn Boy. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this pressing.
