Pressing sounds great. My only gripe is that they used the single version of Come Into My World, rather than the original album version. I've always thought that recording sounded better. Still happy to have one of my favorite albums of all time on vinyl.

All of you trashing on the repress are some kind of pressed... Most people hating also mention they own the other white releases... Sounds like you are mad your first copy is not over priced and coveted anymore. Stop gate keeping music. Specially when we all like it!

Kylie Minogue - “Fever” (Parlophone 2001/2017)

Repressed on vinyl for the first time since 2017 in time for the 20th anniversary of this chart topping, hook infested, body movin’ guilty pleasure! When this came out in late 2001, the single “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” was playing everywhere and it literally became THAT earworm song. Fortunately, it was a good earworm song! It’s also easy to forget that this song was released the same week as 9/11 and the album released a month later. I suppose in some way this song and album’s timing helped distract one from the darkness in the world at that time. Well, 20 years later we have a new kind of darkness with the seemingly never ending pandemic so to finally acquire this very hard to find release on vinyl does bring me a little joy. The white vinyl pressing sounds excellent with some great full bodied bass and detail. No sibilance or problems with no-fill at all with very slight surface noise in between tracks. The gatefold LP jacket also includes a cool art print of Kylie. So good I gotta play this album again!

So for me no speed concerns, the pressing is perfect for an LP

To Adriana & mnmg,
You both might want to check the speed on your turntables. I spot timed most of the tracks on my record and compared the times to my original 2001 CD (and to the later re-issued CD with this version of Come Into My World).
My turntable is a Technics SL-1500C, which is a direct drive turntable with no pitch control.

Take a look at the times below. It does appear the record is a slight bit faster, but given that the CD times include about a second or two of silence at the end, which I didn't account for with my stopwatch timing, these times are pretty much a wash.

Track Name: LP vs CD
More More More 4:39 vs 4:42
Love at First Sight 3:57 vs 4:00
CGYOMH 3:51 vs 3:51
Give It To Me 2:47 vs 2:50
Fragile 3:44 vs 3:47
CIMY 4:04 vs 4:07
In Your Eyes 3:20 vs 3:21
Love Affair 3:48 vs 3:49

Wtf is this pressing about. It sounds like it was recorded far away from the studio microphones. I feel the speed is also a bit too fast paced from the digital discs or streaming in comparison. Horrible horrible. My preamp also is schiit mani with pro-ject evo and yamaha receiver. So Ill be back with an update once I replace the schiit mani. But for now this is a bad pressing imo compared to other records i been using

I have all the 4 versions of this album that was released on vinyl and i can say that this version is exactly the same as the 2017 versions from Sainsburry and Retrocrates. Even the artwork used is the same. Audio is 9/10, I won’t give it 10 because there’s a bit of sibilance in most tracks. Other than that, nothing to complain about. If you’re not a hardcore collector as i am, don’t bother buying the 2017 versions for those ridiculous prices. You’re good with the 20th anniversary edition. Enjoy!

Sound: clear sound most times, nice volume, but some songs (B2 & B3) sound strange and shrill

Disc: skips on last 20 seconds of A6, cleaning did not help

I have been listening to Fever for 20 years, it's one of my most favorite albums of all time. My ear is super tuned to how this album should sound. I am extremely disappointed in this pressing. The songs are too fast. The pitch is terribly off - and no its not my turntable. It sounds like as if a DJ was trying to match the BPM of a faster prior song and turned up the pitch. It may work in the club, but for those of us who want to hear Kylie's true voice, it's not on this album. It doesn't even sound like Kylie. On top of that it doesn't have the original 2001 version of Come Into My World. It's completely unlistenable.

Sounds great! As fantastic as the previous Red pressing. Might sound as great as the OG Sainsbury pressing too, but I can’t compare to it. The packaging is gorgeous! Great reissue! This album finally got the release it deserves. All versions uses the same mastering as I could see. At least this one and the Red one uses the same.
