- Was predictably tempted to buy one of the vinyl versions after the sad news of Tom Verlaine’s passing, then remembered I had this CD version. As other comments mention, this is a great sounding pressing and from reading about the various vinyl represses over last few years potentially superior as far as overall quality goes. Glad I didn’t include it in the great cd cull of 2017…
Has flaws resulting from poor ADC but still likely the best digital version
Another CD that sounds fantastic. Don't sleep on CD's folks.
This is my go to digital copy. Prefer it to the newer CD remasters.
Edited 2 years agoMy copy of the CD 1098-2 is a mispress, with audio of the first Crosby, Stills and Nash album. I’ve had it since maybe 1990; does anyone know of any others?
