I agree with the comment below but forget the 2 Unlimited : Get Ready for This track way too often seen on other compilations it isn't important . The Carl Cox track , Simply Red , Kenny Thomas , SL2 , and a few others are spot on .

Dunno why they call this compilaton "Hardcore '92" is beyond me since there's barely a real "Rave" track here all is early Hip Hop/Rap and Techno early Trance , New-Beat/Acid sounds .

Biggest positive point is really rare tracks on this compilation not being your regular Turn up the Bass and clones , so it's a plus .

One of the early releases from Cookie Jar, this compilation showcases a wide range of dance tracks that were around the clubs at the time. Often it can be better to try out releases like this than going for the broad overview created by bigger labels 20 years down the line as it gives a more accurate glimpse into the styles of the time, and this album is a perfect example! Not wanting to go for the obvious it starts with a blinding classic track by the guys behind The KLF, only to also go on to include a mixture of cult classics & hits by 2 Unlimited, Jazzy Jeff, Carl Cox, Del La Soul, Seal and more!
It was around the early 90's where compilations such as these would hop across genres as many didn't really know how to market certain styles to Joe Public, so you can find a great blend of stuff to hunt down for yourself in future (it's the only explanation to why Simply Red is on here!)
