Top shelf quality house music, thumping along with that bumpy, grassroots, old school house sound. "Sigh of Relief" is my favorite here, as it tips on the moody side with some pretty keys. A+

This track never leaves my record box and has been in all my sets for years. Up until now when my ex girlfriend stole it along with many of my top tracks. Like stealing a limb. Brett Johnson is a very talented musical dude. His tracks are expertly crafted with all the right sounds, breaks and groove all in the right place at the right time. This is one of my top BJ tracks admittedly but all are great. Once you start to discover how great his tracks are you will want them all. He works with Demarkus Lewis to great effect as well. Check the two out together. Top house music for people that like to party with a smile on their faces.

One of Brett Johnson's finest pieces of work from 2003! Even today we still enjoy this timeless bass rollin tech house gem!

"Sigh Of Relief" is a totally uplifting, addictive, blissful, unpretentious tech-house odyssey, made by one of the very fine and respectable artisans in that to-the-point, no-nonsense family of funky, tripped-out after-hours music that may never gain the cred and 'timelessness' of other more 'spiritual' and 'cutting edge' EDM communities, but provides simple joys to the everlasting dancers and obviously deserves eternal credit for that me thinks. And yes, the last 2 minutes might be superfluous, but hey DJs, this is where you're supposed to mix it...

"Ready To Hit" samples "Kool Rock Steady - I'll Make You Dance" (1988).
