Reviews
- Just picked up a sealed in shrink wrap version of this legendary track. Pure MINT perfection after 3 decades.
What an absolute joy to rip it across my jeans and slap it on the platter.
- This was always about the revival. All the other songs were filler. And don't complain about the price, this was hard to get when it came out.
- Can you buy these tracks from any download sites? Couldn't find on beatport. I can't afford a vinyl copy at these prices
- Edited 3 years agoPlayed a record store in Ottawa where I was paid 80$ credit for a four hour vinyl set. Peanuts I know, but I accepted it at the time.
Anyway, I ended up buying this for 3$ after the gig, so all's well that ends well :) - IMO one of the finest house records there is -- this one changed my life when I first heard it. Just scooped mine at Logan Hardware for $5.
- My copy has the side 1 sticker on both sides. Great record - B side the revival (with the addictive "when you feel that rhythm moving through your system" vocal hook) has recently been played by MCDE which might explain why there are so few copies around on discogs at the moment - I think a lot of people follow his sets quite closely. Another disco-house bomb on cajual.
- Revival loops a sample from the latter part of War's City Country City and uses a sample from Gil Scott Heron's The Bottle (Live)
