Great album but muffled, murky pressing here. Pretty dreadful actually.
Wet cleaned with project vce vacuum machine and mint vinyl. Just a straight bad master/ press and bought when it came out.
Shame as should be so much better even when just compared to the digital file
Will keep an eye out for a better sounding edition

My copy of this album sounds like an elephant swimming underwater, if that's any help.

One of the greatest heavy-metal albums of all-time, here beautifully rendered in a lush-pummel of heavyosity. You gotta crank this sucker, as it simply cannot be played LOUD enough...

Not thrilled with my copy. Even after a trip through the spin cleaner it still sounds really compressed and tinny. Packing is also super thin and perfunctory. I’ll probably look for a different pressing in the future.

Just a heads up to buyers: I noticed the majority of the copies sold on here are all ‘mint’ and sealed. I’m not sure if sellers realize that this copy is equal in every way to the 2018 European pressing except for the runouts etching. Not sure how sellers can tell if it’s the 2009 or 2018 press when it’s been unopened.

My copy sounds acceptable, the worst thing is that it came with scratches and marked fingers, weird because it was a new copy

My copy sounds great! Good dynamics and detail. Mids particularly good.

I've read bad reviews about this but my copy actually sounds very rich, powerful and the instruments very detailed.
