Significant noise on the penultimate track. I didn’t find the pressing quality as bad as some of the other reviewers, but still not great, especially given the quality of the music itself.

I am also very disappointed with the quality of the European pressing. It is shameful to trash the magnificent work of an artist like Marissa Nadler with such a production. I changed my first record at the store and the second is even worse, last title that cracks with friction several times! Frankly I prefer a good old black record to those disastrous color pressings ! I'll try to contact Marissa via Facebook to tell her about it. Is there a better quality US pressing version than this European pressing? Thank you for your answers

I find this pressing to be fair, lots of static is noticeable in the quiet places and even after U.S. cleaning, I find it unpleasant to listen to but nice to look at. I play the digital files instead.
Not sure who presses most of Sacred Bones vinyl but I surely have many issues with the label in general, maybe its time to stop buying their vinyl.

fantastic album; easily one of my favorites of nadler's. the expanded instrumentation really suits her songwriting style. unfortunately, my copy of this pressing, while aesthetically pleasing, has consistent surface noise throughout. cleaning made it less noticeable but still present, especially in the opening track, though i will say that the record sounds great aside from that. everything sounds very full and clear.

Anyone else notice that the process used in creating the "splatter" in the vinyl left very large bubbles that pop multiple times during every song?

Can someone please upload pics of the vinyl? thanks in advance...
