Looks beautiful. Sounds like shit. Endless crackle and pops all the way through both sides. Garbage vinyl

Wao, an ABBA album without any Hit :). The sound/pressing is quite disapointing as well. For an ABBA fan a lame duck

??!! What the * ?? I just sat down to listen to this new ABBA album on Blue Solid vinyl, and, forget about pops and crackling sounds, mine has none of that.
But the sound of this recording is AWFUL!! I have been listening to music all day on my turntable, and everything else sounds excellent, but this?! In short, something went TERRIBLY wrong here, and I wouldn't know what. The voices are almost there, but the music/instruments is just like a weak, bleak and blurry mess, my closest assumption is that somehow a MP3 has managed to land on this vinyl. How? I listened to side A and that was that. I didn't have it in me to listen to the B side, life's too short.

Is Miles Showell the craftsman at Abbey Road really the one to blame? What happened?? I remember nothing wrong when I listened to the files on my active speakers.

..and, as a side note, whilst addressing this disgrace and waste of vinyl - why was it so hard to declare one side as A and the other as B?

As a ABBA fan: This is a fast way to ca$h. Bad recordings, detonating voices, no depth and flat. probably there was some on used material on the ABBA shelves from 40 years ago. Crappy recordings, lots of crackle, lots of dust in and on the sealed record..yes!

I waited for 40 years ( and my wife as well) and this is highly disappointing!

The album is fab. My question has to do with the master used for the vinyl.. Do all of the colored vinyls use the same vinyl master? Or are they different, because I have the blue vinyl, and the sound quality is just so-so. Lot's of surface noise on Just A Notion.

Okay. I’ll say it; this album is great. I mean that. After multiple listenings, I like it more and more. It’s a natural progression from The Visitors. Forget the hype, and listen without the baggage of said hype. It’ll help you appreciate it.

Don't shut Abba down as this is their last album. I think Abba released an album with a couple of Abba bangers along with a bunch of other songs. I appreciate that there is new music after 40 years. This album is ABBA, purely ABBA. In the sound, the voices, the harmonies. About the songs and themes, what did you expect? Another « Gimme Gimme Gimme »? Another « Angeleyes »? Be realistic, it’s a mature album, done by mature ABBA members. They won’t sing a disco tune or another dancefloor track.

They have 70+ and did songs that are deep, strong and modern. Of course they weren’t going to record songs in the style of Dua Lipa or BTS. They have their own style, and I really think this album is surprising, emotional and well produced. They tell stories, beautiful ones and sometimes very emotional and/or painful ones. I really think we are lucky in 2021 to have this new (and final) album. This was the best gift and way to say goodbye. It will sell and it will be appreciated by millions around the world for what it is. Is it a brilliant album? - perhaps yes perhaps not, but I think this was basically them being nostalgic of a time they have really fond memories for. Plus a fantastic way to launch ABBA the concert in the UK. So like it or love or hate it , This is their last ever album and for that I am thankful.
