Great compilation, as stated before, and so-so sound quality, hence only four stars.
The first CD is more easy to like, with a lot of quickly appealing tracks : Promises, BT, Attitude, Belief & Determination... It took me 3 or 4 listens to really enjoy the second disc (less variety), but it is really beauriful. The instrumental tracks on it are especially very good (the last on the disc for instance).
I've been browsing my disco compilations on CD lately and that one really stands out.

I got this relatively cheap so just treat it as though it were an old, chewed up mix tape that a friend gave you years ago - that doesn’t sound great but that you have to keep because the songs are impossible to find. If you think of it that way it’s enjoyable. But you couldn’t DJ with it or even play it on a radio show... well maybe if you were on long wave radio after the shipping forecast....- Edited 10 years agowhow whow !! no fillers, only killers here !!
finally a compilation that REALLY deserves it's name and keeps it's promises, extremely recommended musicwise, pure class!
but there's unfortunately a really negative thing to mention.
why - on one hand - those great tracks, on the other, extremly data reduced music, equivalent to 128 KB mp3 damaged trash sound! If CDs constist only of mp3 "Quality" nowadays, there's no need to make a CD anymore; not very appropriate regarding the great music on there..
