Maybe I got really lucky. Just bought my copy today and it sounds good, and I mean REALLY good! Crisp, well balanced, no surface noise and dead quiet between tracks 👌
I've made a complaint for my 1st copy of this album but 2nd copy have the same issue. There is repeating, annoying noise, rising on side A from track 3 to 5, then on track 6 it completely disappears. It is also not present between tracks, so it's rather not mechanical error but some error with track versions or the matrix for a vinyl copy. Shame...
All these comments about bad pressing quality do not mirror my experience. I have this pressing: Matrix Numbers: Side A, variant 2, stamped: 231577E1 1097227, Side B, variant 2, stamped): 231577E2 1034541. This pressing is fabulous. Flat vinyl. No surface noise, no ticks, pops, dust, whatever. Maybe a minimal off-centre but that's about it. One of the best pressings I have received recently. Played on a Transrotor Turntable with Benz Ace SL stylus. I am normally not a fan of GZ-vinyl pressings but, this one is perfect.
Record is badly warped, a shame as it sounds pretty good. Awaiting a replacement, but in truth I am not having much hope as most new records these days seem to be warped to a certain degree. Which is frankly unacceptable. Zero quality control.
Great sounding record. Well balanced. The pressing is little off centered (without playback issues) and dished. My copy have two pressing defects on Track 3 and 11 for 3-4 rounds + a lot of dirt in the grooves. I guess i don‘t get a better copy.
